Mexico City – After the successful eighth edition of the Mexico Energy Forum earlier this year, once again Mexico Business Events was able to premier an event that gathered key stakeholders in Mexico’s electricity and renewable energy markets.
During the three-days-event industry leaders discussed the latest trends of the market, such as the development of new green hydrogen projects, gas-fueled power generation, decarbonization and new technologies for power optimization. Panellists also presented suggestions to improve the industry’s operating framework to meet the ever-growing national energy demand. The event was sponsored by global companies such as Enel Green Power Group, Hitachi, and ABB, among others.
The Forum discussions provided an inside perspective on major commercial opportunities, such as electromobility, hydrogen project development and public-private partnerships, as well as challenges related to Mexico’s legal framework and energy transition strategies. The online event was powered by Brella, a high-level program with an innovative, AI-based matchmaking and networking platformParticipants were able to schedule one-to-one meetings with +100 industry stakeholders to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
Keynote speakers, including but not limited to Bruno Riga (Country Manager Mexico, Enel GPG), Warren Levy (CEO, Jaguar E&P), Ramón Moreno (CEO, Mitsui Power Americas), Sean McCoy (Director Energy Supply, Edison Energy) and Fernando Tovar (CEO, Engie Mexico), discussed a wide range of topics, from the hybrid project potential in Mexico to the critical role of natural gas in the global energy transition, and the early impact of green hydrogen in global energy markets.
